Malvani Vade Flour:
Malvani Vade is delicious deep-fried fritters using mixed grains and rice. It is a popular accompaniment generally served with chicken gravy. Vegetarians can have it with black peas usually.
Ingredients:
Rice, Urad Dal, Whole spices, Methi Seeds.
Steps To Make Malvani Vade:
Take 2 cups of water and add salt, turmeric, Chilli Powder and heat the water.
Gradually add the water to 2 cups of flour and set it aside for 30 min.
Bind the dough and knead it well for 3 to 4 minutes.
Apply little oil on the plastic sheet. Pat the dough ball in a circular shape of medium thickness.
Heat oil for deep frying. Gently slide the vada in the Oil
Deep fry on medium heat and press the vada gently with a spatula so that vasa puffs up. Flip it over and fry both sides till golden brown.
Serve hot vada with any veg or non-veg gravy.
